Lee Humphrey Florida basketball player, currently a shooting guard for PAOK in the Greek league. From 2003 through 2007, he played for the Florida basketball team, which won the 2006 & 2007 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournaments. During the 2005-2006 NCAA basketball seasons, he made 45.9% of his three point attempts; he made a school-record 113 in total, a mark he would equal in 2006-2007. Humphrey hails from Maryville, Tennessee where he graduated from Maryville High School in 2003. He was named Tennessee's Class AAA Mr. Basketball for the 2002-03 seasons after averaging 21.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Humphrey emerged as a prolific weapon from outside the arc during the 2005-2006 seasons in which he hit several clutch three-pointers, including three in the Final Four against George Mason and the championship game against UCLA. The 73-57 over UCLA was the clincher of Florida's first ever national basketball championship. The Gators finished the season with a 33-6 mark. |
